My story
I was 24 years young and just shy of 34 weeks pregnant with my first baby girl. We just moved into our new home and the joy of bringing our baby home and starting our own family was all we ever dreamed of.
We had a text book pregnancy and my heart was full of anticipation and excitement.
Packing my hospital bags and getting her bedroom ready to bring her home in just a short few weeks felt like the most wonderful moments of my life. I woke up on the 7th of February and felt different.
I couldn’t feel her bubbly self move. It was silent.
My intuition was telling me something wasn’t right.
Never did I even know that a baby dying inside your womb was a possibility.
We made our way to the hospital to be told our baby girl had no heart beat. I was then induced to help bring her earth side. Two days later my little girl was born into my arms, silent, a precious, angelic perfect little baby in every way possible. There was no known cause or reason for her death. Her life and grace and journey has shown me how fleeting life can be.
If she has taught me anything is to try our best to help any family from going through such agony of loosing a baby. And this is where it brings us today.
Raising money for the Stillbirth Foundation.
Thank you for helping bring awareness into a taboo experience that we ourselves or someone we know has been through.
Many blessings x
